i finally saw helvetica (the documentary) over the weekend. there was a screening at the philoctetes center in the upper east side. it was pretty well produced and i enjoyed it quite thoroughly. afterward, there was a “round table” moderated by steven heller, which turned out to be just a 2 hour show-and-tell session with [...]

the highly anticipated (for me) lakers / rockets game was on tonight, and per usual i fired up justin.tv to stream it to my laptop in the comforts of my own bedroom. all is well, game [...]

this is a little something that will be used in a paper piece sometime soon. it was drawn with simpler forms and fewer pieces in mind as i will attempt to bring complexity in the later stages of the process. we’ll see how that goes.

although we have yet enter the heart of winter, the prospect of spring has me already excited. band and work commitments, plus the holidays have kept my drawings at bay, but new works are on the horizon. design wise, lephant.com has been rebuilt with the indexhibit engine and the old flash site has been completely [...]
